That's because Knights Permanent Candles® don't melt. You can hold them in your hand while they are alight.

You can use them during a ceremony. They can be easily passed from hand to hand without the fear of hot melting wax.

The candle only burns if it is filled with oil. Either a high quality smokeless and odourless lamp oil or a high quality citronella oil for outdoors can me used.

75ml oil will burn for approximately10 hours. A 20cm Pillar candle will burn for 3 days. A 15cm Jumbo candles will burn for a week!

It’s very important that you burn candles responsibly to ensure their safe use. We have provided the following guidelines to ensure your safety and enjoyment of our products.

Never leave burning candles unattended. Keep them within sight at all times.

Keep all matches and lighters out of the reach of children.

Teach everyone in the family the rules of safe candle use.

Although the candle is not melting, when the flame is active, it is very hot as it would be with a normal wick.

To extinguish a flame, just blow out normally.

This flame will also blow out if used outside without being placed in a jar or lantern.
